GoogleMap Mobile now support GPS (on one phone?)

Yes, it seems that there is versin available for the “HelioDrift” that support GPS. The news cames from the Google Blog. So applications like J2memap will loose one of their key differenciator in the future. This was expected, but the real issue that GoogleMap (on mobile) is still closed, and does not provide any external API….

Interesting news. We had to see that coming sooner or later. I think one key differentiator will be the integration of the mobile device with a web based social network….all centered around location :) Sound familiar?!?
