Hello Schiermi.

About your last idea, do you have a protocol in mind for publishing the URL? Or just something like: <url to publish>?lat=myLat&lon=mylon

Hello Tom,

the friends feature comes first in my mind because I think many new users just walk through all the functions and try them out. The friends-feature was always some kind of slow-going in my opinion.

btw: a configurable target-URL for publishing the actual position would be really a nice feature! :)

Hello Schiermi,

It seems that the issue was more the time used by the request more than the number of request!
But yes, it was used by the friends feature (which is still an ongoing feature)

 Why?

Hi,

a provider can limit max_questions, max_updates and max_connections (per hour) in mysql.
Does the "Friends..."-Feature use this database?
