Beta testing the “new” version of J2memap

Looking for beta testers of the new version ofJ2memap, named “8Motions”. Far from what will be the final release, but enough to play a little bit! So just go to http://www.8motions.com and let me know what happends with your phone.

This feature a great new Ruby On Rail server side, the ability to create your map (or import them) and download them on your mobile, and more to be discovered later on…..

So the current release of J2MEMap is the last one under this name, the next release will be as 8motions?

Nice app, however facing a show stopper on a SE P990i. The app communicates fine with my BT GPS (i.trek M6) when I first connect to it, but any re-start or re-connect to the GPS receiver shows a J2ME exception which is displayed for 2-3 seconds before it disappears.

Null Pointer Exception is not handled by the application for the message ” 0″

and something more. Please let me know if there is a solution, also there a lot of popups because the midlet is not signed :(

    Thanks.
